Ubisoft’s open-world racing game, The Crew, just reached closed beta. In the trailer below, we get to see how the game’s online multiplayer and open-world mechanics work.

Players will start off in Detroit but will have access to the rest of the United States. Ubisoft divided the US into five unique regions, each with their own terrain and challenges.

Complete missions and challenges to accumulate XP, cash, and car parts. Customization plays a big part in The Crew, and you’ll be able to customize every aspect of your car to make it your own. Players can earn “perks,” which makes the game easier by boosting various skills like increased XP or cash flow.

If you haven’t signed up for the closed beta, you can still do so at the official site. The closed beta will run from July 21st to the 25th so sign up soon!
